Transferring Membership

What is a Transfer Verification Form (TVF)?
The Transfer Verification Form (TVF) is an official document that certifies an inactive member has fulfilled all financial obligations to her former chapter and the Boule. This form is essential for ensuring a smooth transition when transferring membership to Alpha Beta Tau Omega Chapter or any other chapter within Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. When is a TVF Required?
  • If you are currently active with a chapter or were active last year, you will need a signed Transfer Verification Form from your current or most recent chapter.
  • To obtain a TVF, download the form by clicking here.
Online Transfer Verification Process (OTVP)
For members who have been inactive since before last year and do not owe a financial debt to a former chapter, the Online Transfer Verification Process (OTVP) simplifies reactivation. How Does the OTVP Work?
  • Chapters now use OTVP to verify that no debts or discrepancies exist in your membership record.
  • If no issues are reported via OTVP, you can reactivate your membership without submitting a physical transfer form.
  • Please complete one of the reactivation forms linked above to proceed with reactivating your membership.
